One of the latest tango-electronic fusion CDs to hit the mainstream music scene, Remixed this time adds an ambient 'chill-out' sound. Inspired by the Gotan Project, Remixed sets out to develop on Piazzolla's experiments in modern jazz set to dubb beats. While an intriguing concept, the sound is more reminiscent of French Lounge guru Serge Gainsbourg than Piazzolla, and the downtempo feel of most tracks makes the CD an unlikely candidate for dancing music.
