The pianist Zaida Saiace is from Argentina. She recorded this CD together with Rudy Flores (guitarre), Roberto Tormo (double-basss and Javier Estrella (percussion) in Paris in 1996. Compositions by Guastavino, Satie, Nazareth, Piazzolla, Salgán and others are performed in a charming way. This is not purely classical music, nor pure tango or folklore, but an interesting South American CD.
